Mental health has become a rising topic on social media, but has always played a part in the behaviors of people for far longer than most will think. Considering what Desiigner is going through we have listed some important facts for creative entrepreneurs to consider while creating and working on their business. Mental health is a crucial aspect of overall well being, and it's especially important for creative entrepreneurs to prioritize their mental health as they navigate the challenges of running a business. Here are the facts:

Mental health issues are common: Approximately 1 in 5 adults in the United States experiences a mental illness in any given year. This means that it's likely that many creative entrepreneurs will either experience mental health issues themselves or have employees or collaborators who do.

Mental health issues can impact productivity: Untreated mental health issues can interfere with an individual's ability to focus, make decisions, and complete tasks. This can have a significant impact on a creative entrepreneur's ability to run their business effectively.

Mental health stigma is still a problem: Unfortunately, there is still a lot of stigma surrounding mental health issues, and this can prevent people from seeking help when they need it. Creative entrepreneurs can help to combat this stigma by openly discussing mental health and promoting resources for support.

Self-care is crucial: Creative entrepreneurs often work long hours and face a lot of stress, so it's important to prioritize self-care to maintain good mental health. This can include things like exercise, meditation, therapy, and taking breaks when needed.

Support is available: There are many resources available for individuals who are struggling with mental health issues. These can include therapy, support groups, hotlines, and online resources. Creative entrepreneurs should encourage their employees and collaborators to seek help when they need it and should also take advantage of these resources themselves if needed.

By taking these facts into consideration and prioritizing mental health, creative entrepreneurs can create a healthier and more productive work environment for themselves and their team.
